Which languages can the menu be shown in?
Up to five: German, French, Italian, English and Spanish. You choose which languages your menu offers and enter the translations yourself. The admin area is available in the same five languages.
Can I show allergens and meat origin?
Yes. Allergens can be marked per product, and the origin of meat can be stated as required by Swiss labelling rules.
Does the QR code change when I edit the menu?
No. Changes to prices and dishes go online instantly, and printed QR codes stay valid.
Can guests order or pay through the menu?
No. Online-Menu.ch displays the menu, ordering and payment happen in the restaurant as usual. If you enable the WhatsApp button, guests can contact you directly.
Can my menu be found on Google?
Yes. Every menu has its own page with structured data that search engines can read.
How long does setup take?
The account is created in a few minutes and the QR code is generated automatically. How long it takes to enter the menu depends on the number of dishes.
